Platform Engineering
In a post-cloud world, the old way of IT-operations has to make way for a more modern approach. DevOps has become the industry standard, and development and operations now share common tools and processes for better collaboration.
Platform engineering is taking operations to a new level, with purpose-built services to help developers run their code reliable and at scale. We do not set limitations, but make sure that developers can focus on creating business value.
Amesto Fortytwo want to enable our partners and customers, not by selling consultants, but by delivering carefully crafted engineering solutions and frameworks. Our deployment platform can be used by everyone, instead of charging for a bespoke solution that is not unique. By doing this, we can deliver quick, and continuously improve features based on your requests.

Dedicated engineering team
We believe that trained, autonomous and highly competent engineers are the recipe for an efficient team. Our teams consist of 4-6 highly competent, cross-functional engineers. Each team has a tech lead, to make sure the customer's interests are always taken care of. These teams are, as far as possible, permanent and trained to work together as a team to manage several customer engagements simultaneously.
Collaboration and tools
We have a dialogue with you how you interact and which collaboration tools you use. Teams, Slack, Email, you name it. We meet where we all can be in the same place and work together without friction. We avoid heavy processes and ticket-based forms of cooperation. Low threshold, accuracy and high quality is what we aim for.
Open Source
We believe in transparency, and we practice what we preach.
Our engineers have built our own platform for deploying infrastructure and governance, with open source components, that is transparent and open.
As an end-user of these projects, we also make sure to contribute as much as possible.
We have been involved in everything from direct contributions, to knowledge sharing at events and meetups.
